I have a very small foot.  If these are too long to fit across the ball of my foot can they be cut?

Yes they can be trimmed down to cover the ball of your foot and fit into your shoe.

At the widest point from they are 3 3/4 in by 2 3/4 inches from the base of the loop to the bottom of the pad.
