Peel-Away™ Adjustable Heel Lift

The Peel-Away Adjustable Heel Lift is an adjustable shoe insert used to treat heel pain, uneven legs, and hip alignment. Use all three layers for 3/8" build-up, or peel off individual 1/8" layers for your desired thickness/height. The layers of the Adjust-a-Lift can be reattached at any time. Raising the heel weakens mechanical forces applied to the foot by the calf, easing plantar fasciitis pain and allowing the plantar fascia and Achilles tendon to heal. Use Adjust-a-Heel Lifts with a calf-stretching program to treat plantar fasciitis pain and Achilles tendonitis.

The Adjustable Heel Lift features a camel-colored faux leather cover over three layers of 1/8" sponge rubber, totaling 3/8". Fits in most shoes. Universal right/left. By PediFix. 1 lift per pack.

Indications: The Adjust-a-Heel Lift is used in the treatment of plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinitis, partial Achilles tendon rupture, heel spur, Sever's disease, retrocalcaneal bursitis, and heel pain.

I have been suffering from plantar fasciitis for quite some time. How is a heel lift going to help?

Answer:

The heel lift will raise the heel and weaken the mechanical forces applied to the foot by the calf easing plantar fasciitis pain and allowing the plantar fascia and Achilles tendon to heal.

Question:  

What is Sever's Disease and how do heel lifts help?

Answer:

Sever's Disease first appears in children ages 7-8 years before the growth plate in the heel is fully develloped.  It is usually caused by excessive tension on the Achilles tendon and plantar fascia, or stress on the growth plate. A heel lift helps take the tension off of the Achilles tendon and plantar fascia.  Heel lifts need to be firm so the body does not compress the lift causing more tension on the tendon and plantar fascia.

Question:

Hi, My husband wants to try a heel lift for a minor length discrepancy in his legs.  Which is more supportive and won't compress- the cork or the Adjust a heel?  Thank you 

Answer:

Thanks for your interest in our heel lifts for your husband. The cork heel lift is more firm than the Adjust-a-Heel, but you might also want to check out our Medi-Heel Lift, which is very firm and comes in several different thicknesses, from 3mm to 12mm.

Question:

How hard are these?

Answer:

Firm to very firm. Heel lifts need to be firm to resist compression by your body weight. We recommend that you place them under the inner sole of the shoe.  By doing so, you place a softer layer on top of the firm heel lift.
