The Pedag Viva Full-Length Arch Support is a universal orthotic insole featuring a semi-rigid longitudinal arch and plantar vault, a built-in orthopedic insert for the longitudinal arch (metatarsal), and a substantial heel cushion. The high arch design of The Pedag Viva Full-Length Arch Support relieves flat feet by correctly aligning the foot and taking pressure off of the ball and arch of the foot, while the heel pad relieves pressure and impact shock on the heel, ankle, knees, and spine.

The Pedag Viva Full Length Arch Support is thin enough to fit in most shoes. The breathable, natural leather construction, tanned with herbal extracts, preserves a healthy climate inside the shoe or boot while the active carbon filter helps prevent foot odor.

Can this insert be worn in sandals?

Anwer:

Depending on the type of sandal, I would say yes.  Try it out in all your sandals to see which one it works best in.

Question:

I have Baxter's Nerve Entrapment.  Which of your products will help relieve my pain?  I really don't want to have surgery.

Answer:

Baxter's Nerve Entrapment refers to an entrapment of the calcaneal branch of the posterior tibial nerve (Baxter's nerve).  Baxter's entrapment results in plantar heel pain.  Pronation (foot rolling inward) or flattening of the arch may also contribute to increased pressure.  some of the best products to help with this pain would be products that raise the heel and take the pressure off the nerve.  Products that keep you from pronating the foot would also help.

The Pedag Viva Full Length Arch Support has a semi rigid longintudinal arch support to help keep your foot from pronating, which causes your arch to flatten.  This can increase the pressure on your tibial nerve (Baxter's).  It also has a substantial heel cushion which helps lift and cushion your heel while walking, decreasing the pain in your heel.

I have flat foot.Would this product be helpful for my conditon?

Answer:

Yes. Pedag Viva's are a good multipurpose insert that would be great for flat foot. In our experience, you may need different inserts for different shoes. For instance, the Pedag Viva's may be a good choice for dress shoes since they're a thinner insert. For tennis shoes and work boots, you might opt for a slightly thicker but more supportive insert like a our Full Length Myfootshop Sport Carbon Fiber Orthotics, or our Half Length Myfootshop Casual Carbon Fiber Orthotics.
