I have Raynaud's and my second toe can get painful to the touch. Could this product help?

Answer:

The Gel Toe Protector won't help with the Raynaud's but could help with the pain that is caused when your toe touches something.

So are you saying that you can use this pad to fix an ingrown toe nail?

Answer:

Sometimes. This is a great pad for calluses on the tips of toes. In some cases, calluses of the tip of the toe are caused in part by the nail. We see this to be true particularly with the 2nd, 3rd and 4th toes. The toes will roll on the side (varus rotation) and the nail will dig into the ground resulting in a callus along the edge of the nail. But the gel toe protector wouldn't be a good choice for an ingrown nail on the great toe. In most cases, depending upon severity, that'll need to be treated by your doctor. How is it that these pads will fit all toes? Do you trim them to length?

Answer:

Exactly. The Gel Toe Protector is essentially a tube of gel that is sealed at one end. We sell them long and you can cut them to the appropriate size for your toes with a pair of scissors.

How many applications can I expect from one tube of l-XL. I need this for my big toe that rubs against the second toe when I walk, which is 6 - 7 times a week. I wear a size 10 1/2 - 11 size shoe and my big toe is somewhat longer than some peoples toes. How many do you recommend I order.

Answer:

Thanks for your interest in our Gel Toe Protector. It is difficult to answer your question, as everyone wears these soft products differently: more often, all day vs. only when walking, how much friction occurs in your shoe, etc. However, they are made well and should withstand much use. Our bulk discount policy may help you decide how many to order: there is a 5% discount when you order 3 or more, and a 15% discount when you order 12.

Will the toe protector help with a very painful stubbed toe? It is my baby toe I was looking on line and saw this however I think that the bunion one that slips over the big toe and around the foot would work great for my stubbed baby toe but I can't find a product for that do you have anything?

Answer:

The Gel Toe Protector would be a good choice for protecting the tip of your stubbed baby toe. You might also want to take a look at our Gel Toe Caps or Foam Toe Caps as they have nice padding at the tip of the cap.
