Question:
I noticed that these are adhesive backed. Can I peel them off and use them in my other shoes?
Answer:
As with any adhesive backed product, the more you try to peel it up and reuse the quicker the adhesive backing will degenerate. We recommend buying several pairs for your different shoes as the product will last longer that way.

Question:
I have Baxter's Nerve Entrapment. Which of your products will help relieve my pain? I really don't want to have surgery.
Answer:
Baxter's Nerve Entrapment refers to an entrapment of the calcaneal branch of the posterior tibial nerve (Baxter's nerve). Baxter's entrapment results in plantar heel pain. Pronation (foot rolling inward) or flattening of the arch may also contribute to increased pressure. Some of the best products to help with this pain would be products that raise the heel and take the pressure off the nerve. Products that keep you from pronating the foot would also help.
Heel Cushions PPT will help raise your heel and take pressure off the nerve causing heel pain.

Question:
What is Sever's Disease and how do heel lifts help?
Answer:
Sever's Disease first appears in children ages 7-8 years before the growth plate in the heel is fully developed. It is usually caused by excessive tension on the Achiles tendon and plantar fascia, or stress on the growth plate. A heel lift helps take the tension off of the Achiles tendon and plantar fascia. Heel lifts need to be firm so the body does not compress the lift causing more tension on the tendon and plantar fascia.

Question:
What's the difference between a gel heel pad and a PPT cushion?
Answer:
Much of the difference is the feel of the material. Although soft, gel will have lower shear resistance meaning that the heel will tend to move a bit more from side to side on the gel pad. PPT has a higher shear resistance. As such, many folks like the feeling of stability that PPT offers.
Question:
What is the thickness of the PPT pads?
Answer:
All 3 sizes are 1/4" thick at the base of the heel.
Question:
What size should I get? I wear a 9 and 1/2 mens with Carbon Fiber Foot Orthotics?.
Answer:
A medium would probably be the best bet for your 9.5 Men's shoe.
Question:
I wear a women's 6 1/2 size shoe, what size would be best for me? Small?
Answer:
A small Heel Cushion would probably be the best, though the difference in sizes is based on the width of your heel. If you have a narrow heel, you would need a small.
