Question:
What is the purpose of the UV-proof safety bags? Is it just to keep the UV light contained? I have a size 15 shoe and some don't fully fit into the bag. If I were to set the shoes up in a room where no one would be, can I leave the shoes out of the bag?
Answer:
You could put the ShoeZap® sanitizers in your size 15 shoes and slide them in backward, so the top or opening of the shoe rests at the bottom of the bag with the toe portion coming out of the top. Pull the drawstrings until they are secure and the shoes are ready for sanitizing.
The bags protect the eyes of anyone (including pets) in proximity of the unit while it’s on, so we recommend they be used at all times. If you were using the ShoeZap® to sanitize a pair of large boots, use the bags to cover the openings or tops of the boots during use.
